Player Eligibility Rules

To be eligible to participate for any team formed by the Hitmen Organization, each and every player must comply with the following.

TRYOUTS

Each player must participate in an annual tryout, which shall be set by the Board. Upon good cause, the Board, will accommodate requests for additional or alternative tryouts.


AGE REQUIREMENTS

A player’s age shall be determined by the age said player is as of April 30.

Each player must compete in his age group, unless one of the following applies:

  • The organization has not formed a team for the player’s age group, and in such a case the player shall be eligible to compete at the next highest age group in which a team has been formed;
  • The player was nine (9) years of age or older prior to August 1, 2012, and had previously competed in an age group not of his own, in such a case the player shall be allowed to continue to compete in the same age group;
  • A player shall be allowed to apply to the Board for approval to play in the next higher age group, IF said player is, or will be, enrolled in the same grade as the majority of the other players making up said higher age group.  The application shall state the reason for the request and be accompanied by proof of grade level.  The application must be submitted to the board within two (2) weeks prior to annual tryouts.  Upon submission of the application, the Board shall determine if the player shall be allowed to tryout for the higher age group.  After the completion of the tryouts, the Board shall make a decision on said application.  The Board shall approve the player’s application, if the Board, in its sole discretion, determines that the approval of said application is in the best interests of the player and the organization.  If the application is denied, then the player shall be allowed to tryout, and if selected, compete for the team making up his age group.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Each and every player selected to participate on any team formed under the Hitmen organization shall abide by the Code of Conduct as provided in the Hitmen Manual.  Failure to do so, could result in sanctions, including suspension for a number of games to outright removal from the organization.  Under such circumstances, no refunds will be issued.
